Had a great time doing some roleplaying and general gaming with friends this weekend. Ran a GURPS adventure that went fairly well. I’ve been considering doing a genre other than fantasy lately, although that’s all I’ve ever GMed. Espionage or something else more modern.

Also played some good new games. Brewmaster was surprisingly fun. You’re a microbrewer competing against other microbrewers and the evil “big brewing corporations” (you can tell what the game creator thinks of the beer brewing business!). The game description sounds a little odd, but it played well. My dad would be proud in that I think I learned a little about beer making, although I’m not sure how accurate it all was!
