Everyone was so great to share with me about memories of loved ones and support while my grandmother is in the hospital. I’m lucky to be surrounded by such loving, wonderful people.

My grandmother’s surgery went very well. The tumor looks to be benign but they’ve sent it off for examination to be sure. I’m going to call and check on her today, but everyone else who’s spoken to her says she’s tired and sore but otherwise in good spirits. I think we’re all feeling a lot better about it now. Now, if she can recuperate and get back on her feet I think she will be ok.

My sister Laura and I are going down this weekend to care for her, clean up the house, and just to spend some time with her and my grandfather.
