Because this post is about nothing in particular. Going to visit Ian’s family over Memorial Day weekend, that will be nice. Amy (Ian’s sister) is past the halfway point in her pregnancy. They decided to not know the sex til it is born. That would drive me crazy!
I’m an information freak. If I can know, I have to know.
We’re slowly getting the whole house painted. We did a nice deep blue in our bedroom and Ian’s now finishing his office with more of a Morrocan blue. He got a very cool wine rack that he converted into an armoire/shelving unit from World Market. Now all we have left to paint are the open areas. We may just want to go with some neutral tone though. If we do another color, it may be a bit much! (My office is green, the bedroom and his office are similar shades of blue, then the downstairs bedroom/bath are shades of yellow, dining room is purples and the kitchen is a light blue!).
That’s all for now…looking forward to my 3 day weekend and a four day work week next week.
Not knowing the sex until the baby was born would drive me crazy, too. I’d just want to KNOW. I’d also be secretly afraid that I would get my hopes up one way or the other and be disappointed somehow when the moment came. Or maybe that doesn’t happen, I dunno.
May 26, 2004 @ 7:16 pmNo, I would think that happens all the time. I mean, you keep picturing in your head “your kid”, and what do you do, just make them sexless until they appear? No, I’d think you’d start picturing a girl with curls or a little boy with blonde hair or something.
May 27, 2004 @ 9:43 amMight I suggest the name of Brianna or Brian? Or even Brion, or Brien, or Bryon or Brianne? I love all those. I wonder why? :p
Brian
P.S. Oh, I see why now!
June 14, 2004 @ 1:38 pmI’ll forward those on. Fabulous suggestions.
