A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Hope everyone had a good time this Memorial Day weekend and took a break from their busy lives to spend time with family and friends, relax, and took a moment to think about those who give their lives for our wonderful country. I may not agree with every war the U.S. has gone into, including the current one, but I respect those who put their lives on the line.

We had a good time in Vidor, although construction on I-45 is awful! If you’re heading between Dallas and Houston, near Corsicana take backroads. ;-) As usual, we hauled lots of loot back from visiting with family. Got a very pretty wind chime, bird feeder, and a cool portable hammock that hopefully we’ll be able to get to Key West so we can relax in style on the beach.

I’m in training the rest of this week. I was glad to get out of the office, but the training is going VERY slow. He’s just presenting, and we’re not doing anything. Oh well, good to be out of the office at least.
