Back from Key West. Ian brought the laptop and dilligently travel-blogged from sunny Florida. I, on the other hand, completely disconnected. No cell phone, no e-mail, no nothing. I think that I REALLY needed it! I actually made it through work and the commute both ways and was positive the whole day. That hasn’t happened in a very long time. ‘pose I should try it more often. 
Ian caught the essence of the trip quite well in his reports. Weather was wonderful, but you did have to come in and change into fresh clothes after every outing (thank goodness we had a washer/dryer in the house we rented!) Personally I loved seeing the dolphins, swimming amongst sting rays, turtles, and dazzlingly-colored angel fish, and finally ending the day by casually walking about a 4 foot deep sand bar in crystal clear waters with my sweetie. It was straight out of an ad for a tropical resort.
Hmmm… not a lot of reference to the amounts of alcohol consumed. Vast amounts! Though standing in 4 foot deep water sipping on a Mike’s was kind of pleasing. Hmmm.. drinking Mike’s anywhere is pretty good… especially the new Lime version
