A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Just recently, a good friend of ours has been diagnosed with acute Leukemia. We visited with he and and his partner for a while last night in the hospital. He’s a really sweet, young guy and I hope he beats this into remission and can get out and have a good life to enjoy ahead of him. Times like this reinforce for you how important the time you spend with friends and family are.

And this reminds me of how bad I am at keeping in touch with friends! I wish your friend a full recovery.
You boys need to come out to DC sometime soon. Besides, from reading your blog, it appears you get about 8 weeks of vacation a year, so you shouldn’t have any problem. ;) Love,
    Steph

I’m just as bad about keeping in touch! Hope you’re both doing well. We will definitely try to get out there soon. Between Key West and Vegas we’ll have used most of our vacation for the year, the last couple of days I save for around the holidays, but maybe after the new year. Thank you for your thoughts about our friend. ;-) Tell Zach hello for me (and Stampy!).
