Well, I’m turning comments back on again, for this post only to see if the blog spammers have vacated the premises yet. Ian told me how to install the new Movable Type that has controls for comments so that I approve who can post comments, but I’m too lazy to install it. So, I’ll just wait for my sweet sys admin to do it!
Not much new. Babysitted my nephew Nathan this weekend. Actually had a really great time (shouldn’t sound that surprised, should I?). He’s a cute, sweet, smart kid. He used to have these incredibly obnoxious temper tantrums, but they seem to have passed (his younger brother is starting to be a handful now too, it must just be a three or four year phase for them!). The one thing he has to work on is learning how to lose. I want him to win at games and sports as much as anybody, and enjoy it. But he won’t even admit to losing, accusing the other kid or person of cheating, etc. It’s one of those things in life: enjoy winning, but learn to lose gracefully or you’re going to REALLY annoy people.
