The weekend is nearly here. yeah! My carpool person’s (there has to be a term for that, co-carpooler?) last day is Monday, so I’ll be riding by myself for a while. It was good to have the company and save money/wear’n'tear on my car. But, it’ll be nice to be able to blast the music up as loud as I want and come/go anytime I feel like from work.

Not much new here. Planning to do some more writing on the sci-fi/thriller novella I’m working on. Definitely going to need to go back and re-pace it. The opening, about 25 pages, has a little drama but is otherwise slow. Then, the big surprise is unveiled in about 3-4 pages. I’ve got 2-3 more scenarios left to write, then it’s either cliffhanger, or flesh it out into a full novel. I’m leaning towards leave it as a cliffhanger for now and I can always finish it later. I think about 50 more pages, so I’m 1/3 of the way there. Right now the title is “Between the Stars Lies an Infinite Blackness”, aka “Insert Crappy Title Here ‘Til You Think of a Better One”.
