A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Apparently I’m the last person on earth to figure this out, but you don’t buy something when you’d actually use it. You run out and buy it when it’s the furthest thing from your mind, then shove it in a closet for months and THEN pull it out. Three times in the last month I’ve been told things are “out of season” and they’re no longer being carried, the only thing to buy is whatever is left. What crazy things have I been shopping for in June and July (which, in case you weren’t aware, is the warm summertime here in Texas!)? Firewood? Sweaters? Snow plows? No, but those are in stock now, on sale, and going fast. Get’em while you can! Here’s what I’ve been shopping for: sandals, shorts, and a patio umbrella. And I’m shopping for these things in summer. Is that not crazy? Apparently it is, as those are Sooooo out of season for summer, try coming back in January!!!!

Thanks darling! I’m sure evil marketers somewhere have a master plan to take over the world with their wacky marketing plans, one target demographic at a time.
