Lovely. I got blog spammed today. If that’s what you call it. People (automated scripts I’m sure) post comments with inappropriate links and subjects to your blog by the dozen and you have to delete them. At least I noticed a feature in MovableType to do IP banning, so they’re all blocked. Hopefully that will […]

Don’t know if you’ve heard about this. An art student built this outside a museum in England. It’s a glass public bathroom made of one-way mirrors. Outside, you just see mirrors. Inside you feel like you’re using the restroom with the rest of the world watching. I seriously don’t think I could use this, but […]

Just recently, a good friend of ours has been diagnosed with acute Leukemia. We visited with he and and his partner for a while last night in the hospital. He’s a really sweet, young guy and I hope he beats this into remission and can get out and have a good life to enjoy […]

Whew! A four day weekend. That was tough. I’m getting spoiled lately. Friday was my great aunt’s funeral. A sad occasion, but it was good to bring all the family together. Monday we had off for Independence Day. Fireworks always make me glad to live in the U.S. and be an American!
We almost missed […]

And I can’t sleep. So maybe blogging is the modern man’s warm milk. Well, doesn’t seem to be working yet. I hate when your body is so tired and just yearns to pass out in deep slumber, but your mind is wide awake. I don’t get insomnia too often, but I hate it when […]

The Cassini-Huygens probe entered Saturn’s orbit today, seven years after launch, and within ONE SECOND of the schedule originally called for seven years ago. That is freakin’ incredible!!! I’m just in awe of that kind of planning. The NASA and JPL people deserve a big kudos on this project.
Saturn is beautiful, images look […]
