I’m free at last from Application Support. I’ll probably still have to answer a few questions and help the new tech lead out from time to time, but as of now I am officially off App Support and full time on a project (only took 2.5 years!). Woohoo!!

It felt odd, like I was leaving a job as I wrote my ‘goodbye’ e-mail. There are several people that, while they’ll still be here and I will too, we probably will not talk to or see each other nearly as much, some I may not interact with at all for some time. Such a big company that changing projects is practically going to a new company.
