A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Had a good weekend. Friday was dinner and drinks at Samui’s followed by the Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth (only Chris and I were brave enough to face the terror!). Actually, the house was fairly disappointing except for the ‘mist room’ and wall of bubbles at the end.

Saturday was yard work. I have the yard in good shape for winter, though I need to cut down and mulch my annuals. Spring bulbs have been chilling and need to be planted in a few weeks along with pansies. What’s bothering me now is the inside plants have a mildew that I need to nip in the bud before it gets bad (and replace a few dying ones that just didn’t do well inside).

Finally Sunday Vic, Jon, and Jai came over for games and we played Munchkin, Guillotine, and Pit. Drew and his cute cute doggie Hera joined us for Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. I’ve missed that show so much! Very original concepts, artistically beautiful, coupled with strong scripting and acting equal a great sci-fi show.

Had THE cutest waiter at Chili’s today for our Boss’s Day lunch.
