Not much new to blog, just thought I’d keep the entries coming rather than have my blog become a ghost town ;-).

Went to Jeff & Jeremy’s last night and met their adorable cockapoo (mixed breed of cocker spaniel and poodle) Mary. It’s cool we finally met a gay couple right here in The Colony! Had a drink, checked out their very nicely decorated home (and ooohed and aahed over their cool new game room complete with bar and pool table!), went to Samui’s for great Thai food, then back over to their place to chat about Star Trek, politics, etc.

Recently finished Kingdom Come (which I borrowed from Jai…thanks!), a graphic novel regarding the responsibilities of superhumans set in the world of Superman and Wonder Woman many years in the future. Well written, and great art. For a person like me who enjoys comics but doesn’t delve into them much, it turned the world of superheroes on its head and asked questions on if someone is endowed with such gifts, do they have a duty to use it to aid others, and must they conduct themselves with a certain code of honor? Very relevant questions for anyone (or nation) with great power..*cough* the U.S. *cough*

I’m going to try and review anything I read more here on my blog and provide any readers with more interesting information than just what Ian and I did yesterday (which I know is exciting!). Plus, I’m going to bother to look up more URLs for specific things I mention. That is the whole point of the web and hyperlinked text!
