I was angry, resentful, annoyed, and frustrated this morning with the election results. I went for my morning run with Caleb, and contemplated things. Lately I haven’t done much zazen (sitting meditation), but rather I tend to contemplate and let my thoughts flow in Kinhin, (walking or moving Zen). That was the case this morning, enjoying the cool weather, the beautiful neighborhood, Caleb’s innocent exuberance.
Things are no different than they were yesterday, nor will they be that significantly different tomorrow. Our country has exercised a fundamental, wonderful right to vote and each have our own opinion. I hope in the coming years representatives of a divided America will listen to the other side’s view and work towards compromise.
Then, I tried to add a comment to my blog and all that Zen BS flew out the window. Dangit, TypeKey registration to keep out the stupid spammers (GRRRRR) isn’t working right and I can’t comment on my own blog (and others of you may have had a problem lately too trying to login and comment, I don’t know). GRR!!! *Deep breath*
Ok, so I’m going to try upgrading to a new version of MovableType that has a blacklist plugin. That should allow me to go back to unregistered comments, but will effectively (I hope) blacklist blog comment spammers.
