Ok, I went a little bulb-happy and bought nearly 250 bulbs (tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils). I had gift cards I wanted to use, and, Home Depot had them buy 100 get 100 for free. Couldn’t pass that up I went single color (yellow tulips, yellow/white daffodils…the hyacinths are red though, cuz that’s what they had!), I think it’ll be really beautiful in the spring and we should have lots of cut flowers. As well, I got pansies for the winter (purple if you care).

Got home, and started cleaning up the flowerbeds and mulching my stuff that’s sensitive to winter, and it started raining! So, hopefully it will let up at some point this weekend and I can finish. Meanwhile, Ian’s cleaning house while I blog, surf the web, etc. (hey I got up this morning and did laundry before buying plants and cleaning up the yard!!)

Last night we had a good time. We made a bed in the living room floor out of sofa cushions and tons of blankets. Put on the fire, I made some hot chocolate, and we watched The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It was a blast! You’ve got to take time out of life, and do goofy, fun things like that once in a while. It’s what life’s all about
