And now Tim Burton is re-doing it with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka (I can’t imagine a better choice!). It looks seriously deranged. I hope Depp puts his usual amazing abilities to work though, from the preview it didn’t make him seem as if he put a lot into it, but it may have just been the choice of scenes.
