A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Christmas. We got back late last night from my sister’s house, which we drove to straight from Vidor. Whew! Lots of hours on the road. Got to see lots of family though, and had a good time everywhere. (And of course, loads of fun gifts!) I have a ton of new reading material. Yeah!!!! I always enjoy seeing everyone’s faces light up as they open up gifts.

Now I just need to occupy my week off (I know, it’s rough, I appreciate your sympathy!) before we head to New Orleans for New Years. From what people are telling me about how crazy the Big Easy gets for NYE I’m uh….curious to see how bad it’s going to be!! Still, I think it’ll be a blast. So, this week I have gifts to run to a few relatives, I’m probably going to work on my train set, a new GURPS book to buy (and characters to make), and I’m sure lots of reading and watching TV.

Hopefully we’ll fit in some climbing too! And agreed on the GURPS books. Magic and Fantasy came out I think
