Played around with the new Canon last night some. It’s so cool! I’m impressed with the feature set, and how easy to use the interface is. The way you view pictures on the camera is cool too, you just zoom in/out on a virtual photo album, you can even zoom inside a pic.
The neatest thing […]

Ian’s parents gift to us (courtesy of Best Buy gift cards..is there anything better in the world?) is a new digital camera, the Canon Elph SD300 (ok, it was a tad more than the gift cards, but it’s worth it!).
It’s the cutest, tiniest little camera. The funny thing is it is just as good as […]

If you’re any kind of geek at all you know it’s Mac World and Jobs is pulling his usual last minute surprises out. Pretty neat stuff: a flash-based (non-skipping) tiny iPod, and a screenless computer (tiny little enclosed white box). You gotta love’em for the cool factor of their designs!

Gene Smith has a good link on his blog, Atomiq, about product design patterns.
Check out the energy drink section, it’s funny how the companies know to package certain things certain ways and consumers respond accordingly.

Ian and I adopted a new puppy, Skylar. He’s a heeler mix and is so cute! Already he and Caleb are getting along great. Check out the pics and story of his adoption on Ian’s blog.
Can’t wait to go home and play with him!

Work is just kind of *shrug* there today. Going slowly. I’ll blog about my misadventures getting the Christmas lights installed and taken down once the ordeal is actually done. I’ve learned never to use this company again, and not to bother with the hassle of paying someone an exorbitant amount to put up lights on […]

And thy name is Mountain Cedar.
Apparently I’m quite allergic, along with a fairly large number of Texans. It makes me have a month to two-month long cough/chest congestion every December/January that is never really bad, just VERY annoying, particularly at 2 in the morning. The doctor says allergy shots won’t make it better, the best […]

Well, Jeremy, Jeff, Ian and I survived New Orleans for New Years! Bourbon Street gets SO crowded at night!! It was a crazy trip, but a lot of fun. The city is so old it has a lot of beauty and the lively denizens give it plenty of charm, but I don’t think I could […]
