Well, production issues are keeping me busy while I try to get my project started. Although my code triggered the problem right now it looks like it is a bug in the server, not my code!!
This weekend was moving furniture, working in the yard while the painters did their thing, and then moving everything back. (Sony WEGA TVs are HEAVY!!) Sunday was painting at my parents’ house for my mom’s birthday. Tonight we need to finish getting everything put back in order for friends coming over tomorrow, and if there’s time I have some plants my mom gave me to put in the ground.
I’m so glad, we fixed the electrical short in the pond pump this weekend. It would short out and trip the GFI when it rained. We needed a better seal on the cord connections, and had to bury a new cord as the old one had (I think) rusted out on the inside and shorted out even when it wasn’t raining. But, it’s been running now for a couple of days and even made it through the rain this morning. I had been very annoyed with it as the pond wasn’t staying clean and the outside lights in front were not coming on (which I think look nice and make the house a little safer). I know Ian will be glad as I kept whining to him to fix it since I couldn’t figure out the problem! We’d tried some things in the past but hadn’t 100% fixed it. I’m pretty sure we’ve got the issue resolved now though. Two of the larger fishies died last week, I can only guess they got sick because of algae and goop in the pond the filter wasn’t getting because of the short. Hopefully that will be all the casualties for now!
