My project manager was fired today. That’s two in a row now. On both projects, I’ve had the project shelved and my PM canned. They’ve gone through a few PMs around here in the last few months. Basically if they don’t have a PM style that perfectly fits with upper management you’re canned. I’m getting sick of it.

Don’t expect me to handhold or in any other way help out the next noob PM they give me. I’ve had to train two of them, when I didn’t even know our project processes myself. Besides, anyone they give me will just be canned in a few months anyways. The good news is it sounds like I’ll get one of the lifers (a PM who’s been around a while and will likely be around a while longer) as my next PM on the project.
