Yeah!!!! With all the anti-gay news going on these days, it’s nice to see a ray of light amidst the dark clouds.

Connecticut signed into law civil unions for gay couples, the first state to do so without court order (no “activist judges” to blame here). I’m sure there’ll be a new term for representatives such as these who voted to protect the minority and not defend the majority’s views. Suggestions? “Activist representatives”? “Minority representatives”? “Unrepresentative representatives”?
