Going to Reno/Tahoe/the north California wine country this weekend for a 5-day getaway with Vic and Kris, friends from high school and college. It’ll be a lot of fun, I’ve never gone on a trip with them, or really any friends from high school or college.

Work the last few days has been a pain in the butt. I thought things were going so well testing my project and then they start finding all this little stuff and I start freaking thinking “I have to get this done before I go!!!”. Luckily I was able to play defect ping pong and bounce a lot of the issues back because they’re existing (I only have to fix bugs *I* introduced thank god!).

Not to complain about people, but let’s just say there are developers out there who are MUCH slower at things than I am. It has worn out my patience. I’m just hoping things hold together the three days I’m gone. But, I’m not going to think about work once while I’m gone, and it will all be waiting for me when I get back.
