A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

I’ve found some good music lately. Now, if you know Ian and I, Ian is by far more the music person than I. I recently obtained (mostly on iTunes, I’m legit now, but if I can’t find it on iTunes I download it off Limewire):

*the new Erasure album Nightbird - they’re continuing to play around with their style as they’ve done in their last couple of albums. I like this more than their last few as it has more energy to it

*Sinnerman by Nina Simone & Felix Da Housecat (Felix Da Housecat’s Heavenly House Mix) - an old spiritual (I always love the energy and rhythyms in the old, predominantly African-American spirituals) with a modern beat. Found this watching Cellular last night

*Mylo - In My Arms - Discovered this on arjanwrites.com a good mp3 blog

*In a heartbeat - Been wanting this for a while. It’s the intense guitar riff at the end of 28 days later when he’s in the house fighting the soldiers, I love the mood the song carries with it

Some of the other various stuff I’ve picked up on iTunes recently: NIN’s new single, The Hand that Feeds, Rob Thomas, Lifehouse, some old Garbage I didn’t have, and some other stuff.

So what music have you discovered lately?
