I love long weekends. While it rained a lot, we also had nice bouts of weather in between. I finished a garden at the back of the yard under the crepe myrtles. The area was always wet and shady so grass never grew, so now it has some asian jasmine and the stone bird bath my brother and sister-in-law got me for my birthday, and small stone under the swing.

Also, had friends over for fajitas yesterday and some Ms. Pac-man playing. Turns out our grill has a problem now, so a new item on my to-do list! (Which I’ve actually got down fairly small lately). Finally dinner with my family for Memorial Day/my dad’s b-day/my nephew’s b-day. Had a really good time catching up with everyone there as well.

Now I just have a four day work week to face. Not too bad!
