I got ‘the review’ today. Eh. Nothing great, nothing bad. Basically what I expected. So, I’m still here plugging away. *Yawn*. It’s Friday afternoon, and I’m counting the minutes. Ticktickticktickticktick….

Yeah, there’s supposed to be the accent thingie over the i or e (Cliche’s French, right?) but I have no idea how to get that on there and it’s just too much work.
Anyway, out taking the dogs for a jog/walk/run this morning and passed a guy I’ve seen out a number of times with his […]

A few years ago, I didn’t expect this debate, and it certainly does feel like the Spanish Inquisition to me!
I barely have the heart to blog yet again about this. It’s just…….sad. I’m becoming apathetic about it all. So, I’m just going to come clean with all of you about some facts about this world:
The […]

I had to steal the title from a quote in
the article, it was too perfect.
Thankfully our duly elected, taxpayer-dollar-paid representatives in the Texas House are working hard to stop that vile, immoral cesspool of sexual depravity from spreading their filth any longer.
Yes folks, I’m talking about high school cheeleaders shaking their booty to the beat. […]

I e-mailed this to some friends in response to a discussion on gay marriage. I thought it summarized my beliefs well about where we need to focus our efforts to promote gay rights, so I figured I’d post it. I do hope it doesn’t sound condescending or insulting to the ‘average American’. I could be […]

Good job Brazil!!

This is a great letter from a Catholic gay man to a Delta stewardess who told him his off-color t-shirt would be ‘offensive’ to Christians on the plane.
This is a great excerpt (the stewardess is apparently ‘Andrea’):
Andrea, you struck a raw nerve with me. Over the course of the past 5 years I have […]

As Ian was so good to point out yes, I was hypocritical by blogging two separate posts in the same day, one espousing tolerance of views you don’t agree with, and intolerance of stupid idiots, err, those who don’t agree with me. He’s got an excellent point. I struggle all the time to respect […]

Just interviewed a guy who used to work here (in another group). Technically competent, good personality, already knows the business, even our company. Gave him thumbs up around the table and were ready to say yes as soon as we checked with people he’d worked with.
Talked to some of his old co-workers (in fact one […]
