Good to see the /. crowd roiled up over the Christian fundies taking over our schools. A school district passed a rule to require biology teachers to teach evolution as “flawed” and that *cough* (I can’t say this much less type this with a straight face) “intelligent design” *whew* is a valid alternative.

Salon has a great interview with Richard Dawkins, who is apparently one of the leading proponents of evolutionary biology and an atheist. I agree completely with his views. The sad thing is he’s a bit before his time, I’m sure he seems blasphemous and a heretic to many.

Just got back from a weekend in Austin where Naji & Marcia were kind enough to put up with Jon, Vic, and I again for the weekend. We did GURPS and several other card and board games. Had a great time, though I’m very tired. Getting too old to stay up so late!!!
