Well, it’s something I’ve been meaning to have us do now for quite some time. Ian and I are finally going to get our wills, medical power of attorney, etc. other documents done. It’s not a marriage, but a stack of legal documents will be as close as we get anytime soon in this state. […]

This sucks. I’ve always hated Bank of America even back when they were Nations Bank. They had horrible service and fees for everything. I’ve had my MBNA Texas A&M credit card since, well, I started at A&M (10 years now, gulp!) and I’ve got a great limit on it, they even let Ian have a […]

Wow! First Canada, now Spain this week. It’s been known for a while this was 99% likely to happen in Spain, but glad to see it finally done. Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Canada now give gay couples equal access to marriage.
And we’re working on anti-gay marriage amendments over here. Yeah, the U.S. is a front […]

I always go on about Japanese cars being more reliable. The J.D. Powers dependability study came out today and apparently Lexus is on top. It didn’t specifically say where Honda was, but I did find this report from last year. I’m surprised Honda is way down at 6th and 7th (for Acura), with even some […]

I’m typing this with a big grin on my face! Go Canadians, eh!!! Canada’s parliament approved same sex marriages today and approval in their senate is apparently all but guaranteed. How on earth can things be so different in a country on our border?
Hopefully this will build pressure for change in the U.S. as well […]

I swear. I can go mistake free at work for months but you make one little mistake and some people are like a dog with a bone and just can’t let go! My manager is all worked up that a 3rd party provider put an arbitrary limit on a service and I didn’t pass this […]

A new plot for a novel, over on my other blog. Take a read and let me know what you think. First though, here’s the background on the setting concept.
It’s got good potential. I really should try to get a small story published first, but if nothing else it is good practice on building characters, […]

Am I just sitting here at my desk blogging like crazy? Yeah. Basically.
So anyways. Erasure’s newest album Nightbird. I mentioned it when I bought the album on iTunes, but I thought I’d give it a bit more of a review.
I’ve been a huge fan of Erasure since before I came out as gay. I identify […]

Everything in the world is being podcasted now. What’s a podcast you ask? You are SO 2004 sweetheart. A podcast is a fancy word for a sound file. Yeah, that’s right. Basically, anyone with a microphone can record themselves reading the encyclopedia for all they care and post the recording on the web. People […]
