A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Been a while since I’ve done a roleplaying post. So, grab your 8-sided dice, character sheet, and Renfest-purchased sword and hold on!!

I’ve been back into GURPS lately (4th Edition) and am gaming with Vic, Jon, Naji, and Marcia. As well, I have an adventure ready which is part of a campaign in a setting I created, Skylands, which I also hope to write some stories in. Look to do that adventure with Jai and Chris eventually.

I’ve got some Cardboard Heroes Dungeon and Cavern tiles coming from Amazon, and I’ve found some other neat stuff of late as well. While it would be very realistic to use metal miniatures and cast 3-d structures for dungeons, etc. it’s just too expensive usually. So, SJ Games Cardboard Heroes stuff is well done, nice art, and affordable. I also found on RPGNow.com some very cool tiles which you buy and download in PDF form and print out on your own. Some work in printing, cutting it out, etc. but it’s very affordable. And this 3-D castle just looks cool.

So, now I have a VERY long list of “I wants”! ;-) (Basically every tile set listed above).

And finally, the hugest dungeon any geek has ever seen. Don’t get drool on your player’s handbook or basic set now. The book with maps weighs 6 pounds!!

Hi, my name is Bobby, and I’ve been a geek for a very, very long time now. :-D
