Only by Tigger. Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger died today. Sure, he was just a voice, but it was one I strongly identify with my childhood. I loved Winnie the Pooh. I fantasized a lot as a child and still enjoy today the escape of fantasy, sci-fi, etc. Christopher Robin was an easy boy to identify with: escaping to a world of make-believe.
Winchell made Tigger whimsical and unrelentingly happy, perhaps a good reminder of how we should all try to live our lives. ![]()
Also, like myself, many of you may not have realized this bit of the pop lexicon comes from Tigger and thus Winchell. Thus, it is a fitting close to this post:

Mr. Winchell, thanks for making so many children including myself smile, laugh, and most importantly, imagine.
