A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

Don’t hold back!

Toyota and Honda are kicking butt so hard right now in car sales they’re actually thinking about raising their prices to give their beaten up American counterparts (namely Ford and GM) some breathing room!

Come on!!! If you’re doing great, I say stick it to’em! And before you go and call me un-American, realize that Toyota and Honda each have numerous American factories that produce most of their cars we buy here (I read once Toyota’s Camry is made from over 80% American parts whereas most GM vehicles are made from 50% American or less). The American car companies are complaining about rising health care costs as the reason why they’re not doing well…but the Japanese companies are making their cars with American employees who have health insurance!

Sorry, I’ve just always been a fan of high quality Japanese cars, and I’m glad to see them doing so well.
