This sucks. I’ve always hated Bank of America even back when they were Nations Bank. They had horrible service and fees for everything. I’ve had my MBNA Texas A&M credit card since, well, I started at A&M (10 years now, gulp!) and I’ve got a great limit on it, they even let Ian have a card in his name on the same account.
About a year ago after a court ruling, MBNA switched my Mastercard to American Express. In the article it says Bank of America (who doesn’t deal with Amex for some reason) hasn’t “figured out” what they’ll do with the MBNA Amex cards (my card!). I just hope: A) they don’t just cancel them/force you to switch to some other program B) start charging fees (I’m sure they’ll find a way).
