These goddamn fuckers! Found out about this courtesy of modFab. You’ve got to read about this kid Zach, a blogger who when he came out his parents put him in “Love in Action” to ‘cure’ him of being gay. He’s got the rules of the place listed on his website, they’re Nazis!
Reparative therapy has been […]

Greg has a great writeup on the shortcomings of mobile games on phones. The problem is more wide-spread (I think) even to phone web browsing and various platforms on PDAs (Java for example).
So many features in these little devices we all carry around, yet the capabilities of software to interface with the hardware and built […]

OMG. You got to love e-mail. It can live on for so much longer than you think. I casually responded to someone at work regarding what I thought should be done to implement something. It gets forwarded, and forwarded, and I get an e-mail back to a large group with my comments buried six levels […]

I’ve been back into GURPS lately (4th Edition) and am gaming with Vic, Jon, Naji, and Marcia. As well, I have an adventure ready which is part of a campaign in a setting I […]

Random stuff: It’s Gay Pride Month in June in case you weren’t aware, and since my workplace is VERY gay-friendly (woohoo!) we have a big ol’ rainbow gay pride flag hanging from our 2nd story balcony. That rocks!
I’m becoming an audiobook fan. Several people at work love them, and I’ve always been tempted to get […]

A good, honest, if somewhat depressing article about how recent advances in the social arena by the fundies are emboldening them to attack GSAs (gay-straight alliances) in public schools as well as health/sex education textbooks and classes which allow for a discussion of homosexuality.
These people are trying to shove us back in the closet, but […]

There’s some debate as to whether this is authentic or someone making a statement about the state of Big Brother like affairs of late. If it’s authentic it’s freaky as shit as it definitely has Soviet ‘narc on your neighbor’/Big Brother tones.
