The Democrats have been fighting back lately. I don’t know what took them so long, but good for them! They’re going after Rove, the likely leaker of Valerie Plame’s identity (he was involved in a past leak scandal, so it makes him suspect, not to mention it’s just his style).
I do hope they get to the bottom of this one way or another. Someone committed a treasonous, life-risking action in the name of petty politics to shut her husband up and they need to pay. To this day Bush’s initial tepid reaction to this shocking controversy (and the media’s tendency to ignore it) are the more vivid memories I will take away from these horrible 8 years.

One Response to “Rove’s days are numbered”
In the true form of “what goes around, comes around,” this whole exercise was a way for members of the GOP/White House to discredit Ambassador Wilson because of his Op-Ed piece.
Still puzzling is why Rove gave permission to Cooper to release information, but not Miller. I’m guessing past stories by Miller may not have been proper in the eyes of Rove.
