Well, our hotel, the Place D’Armes in New Orleans, has free wi-fi internet access!!

So, being the geeks we are we brought our laptops along with us and can blog during the trip. You won’t have to do without me for the weekend, so I’m sure your hearts just collectively lifted.

Anyways, here we are. New Orleans is hot, and, well, smelly for the most part. But the Cajun and Creole food is fantastic. The live jazz seems to creep out of every square inch of the city. The hotel is a beautiful set of old building (and has a pool!). Lots of good drinking already accomplished, and more sure to come I’ll bet. (Though I missed Ian, Chris, and Layton getting way drunk at 5 in the morning).
