The guy from HRC calls me back at work. In the middle of our conversation, the power flickers at work!!!! Not enough to kill the PCs, but apparently enough to kill the VoIP phone system. Is this everything associated with this stinking cap transaction cursed or something????

How does one determine when the middle of a conversation occurs? I mean, I can understand knowing that after the conversation has ended, but how can this be assessed before then? In you case the call ended, so it wasn’t the middle of the converstaion, it was the end (regardless of what you may been saying at the time). So the middle of the conversation was sometime between you taking the call and the call ending.
