Sites too numerous to count on the web list phone numbers and addresses of places where you can make donations, online and offline. 25,000 refugees are expected in the Dallas area now in addition to 25,000 in San Antonio and 25,000 in Houston. I contacted the Dallas area emergency management office and they gave me the number of the Dallas chapter of the American Red Cross as the people to contact for donating time. I’m going to try and help out this weekend and whenever I can if they can use the help. They probably have tons of people offering, but with 25,000 refugees I can’t imagine they can have enough.

Reports have said that the ARC is only accepting cash at this time, but hopefully they can use manpower. The number is 214-678-4800. I haven’t got a response yet this evening but I’ll be trying tomorrow as well. Please consider donating anything you can to help out the survivors of this catastrophic event.
