Then, as I left, I took some advice from Sharon Stone. Yes, that’s right. I heard that when she spoke at the Black Tie Dinner this weekend she spoke about doing your part. If you see a cup rolling by, stop, pick it up, and throw it away she said. So that’s just what I did. There was this big ugly, garish sign with mean anti-gay language written all over it. (It was subtle though, it said “one man + one woman = marriage”). These two sharp pointy metal things sticking out one side had become wedged in the ground and it was outside the polling place! Well, I knew no one wanted to see such garbage so I did my part and took care of it!
