We put all the decorations on the tree, and it looks great. This being the largest tree we’ve ever had, I’m surprised we had enough. Even managed to get a little bit of Christmas shopping in this evening. So, all in all I feel like we’re catching up on the ol’ Christmas to do list. I still need to send out Christmas cards, finish shopping, wrap the gifts, and probably buy a few more strands of lights to decorate our trees out front.

Work has been absolutely crazy the last few days. My last project keeps getting defects opened at the last minute. I’ve had one developer whose work has constantly been under par from everyone else’s. He doesn’t do bad work, it’s just that there are little flows he doesn’t catch or test. So we’ve basically been peer programming all the fixes lately and I think it’s helped a lot. I’ve got my fingers crossed the final build tests out and we get it into production. Then I can finally go back to the project I’m working on now, where I really have a chance to be involved in a rock solid design and improve my design skills.

Looks like a possibility of snow tomorrow. I’m actually hoping for it so I can just work from home, relax, and get some stuff done. Well, I’m off to write some Christmas cards and then to bed. I’ll try to post more but between now and the holidays I can’t promise much. There’s been plenty going on lately what with Ford dropping their GLBT advertising, England’s civil unions starting, etc. so I’m sure I’ll spout off politically, religiously, philosophically, or otherwise before long. You know I can’t resist.
