I’m impressed. Bush can see into the future. He’s apparently stated DeLay is innocent before his case has been tried in a court of law.
That’s just completely unprofessional partisan behaviour for a sitting president to take part in. Not that I had much respect for the idiot in the first place, but this definitely eliminates any lingering dignity he’s clinged to. You respect our legal system. It’s ok to say “I think he’s a good man, etc.” but you’re basically saying you know better than our juries, lawyers and judges do when it comes to a particular case.

It’s especially amusing because most people seem to think DeLay is going down, so Bush will end up on the wrong side of that, too.
Bush has so frequently made statements that turn out later to be false, that really it proves Bush is a compulsive liar. What he is actually saying is that DeLay is guilty as hell!
December 16, 2005 @ 2:24 pmHey - I found you in Chris Moss’s site. Munchkin? Sounds fun.
Any way… I’ve been voting red for the past several years and at the same time, I’ve been a staunch DeLay NON-Supporter…
As a Houstonian I can tell you DeLay is one crooked bastard. He got his start as a Bug Exterminator. Think about it. His business experience comes from making little pests go away quietly. How appropriate that he made it into politics.
