Err, a state of contentment, I suppose. (Apologies to The Cure). Had a bit of a nasty cold this week that’s been going around work. Doctor gave me super drugs to knock it out though, and they’re finally working. Though they acted like speed the first night I took them and I just sat there awake all night writing a story in my head. It’s not half bad either, just unfortunately it is a bit too similar to the movie The Island to bother with it (though I had the rough outline before that movie came out!).

I’m in a good mood today though, it being Friday and all, and wearing my spiffy new clothes. Went shopping with Ian last night for new shoes and pants. Got a small bonus at work recently (not enough to cover the mini shopping spree, but it helped!). I needed dress shoes badly, and the ones I picked are actually comfortable.
