Or the closest thing there is that you can legally get with a prescription. Those cold pills my doctor gave me are just 400 mg psuedoephedrine, which is Sudafed X4 and are essentially the same thing that’s in diet pills and speed. It does clear up congestion. Only problem is I’ve had about 8 hours sleep in the last week. As long as I take another one when I get up I’m fine, especially with a Dr. Pepper during the day. Seriously though, you’d think if something like that wired you that much that you’d have a lot of energy and be super-peppy, but that is not the case. They are definitely not mood elevators and I’ve had no inclination to do anything beyond the bare minimum to get by lately, whether it be chores or whatever. I’ll see if I can’t wean myself off them this week as I haven’t really been liking the head space I’ve been in since this weekend. That and 4:30 AM blog posts just aren’t a good thing!
