Just published two new stories on my home page, Coming Home and It’s a Small World After All.

Theyr’e both about the larger picture than humanity and this universe and propose some theories to what our existence may really be. One deals with the concept of the Vingean singularity (named after the great science fiction author and futurist Vernor Vinge) and post-singularity humanity, also known as posthumans, metahumans, or ascended humans. I’ve been reading a collection of sci-fi short stories about metahumans so perhaps that’s my inspiration.

I’ve blogged about the singularity before. It’s a fascinating subject to contemplate.
