A Zen gay atheistic Texan’s perspective

From NPR’s I believe by Penn Jillette (half of Penn & Teller), courtesty of Sit down, have a drink, my friend Layton’s blog. Just incredibly well said and well worded.

Those of religious ilk could view it as a slap in the face, and to an extent I suppose it is. But it’s a plea for common sense as well: let’s sit down and face to face deal with reality and find common ground, and be wililng to learn and change our minds. I was just incredibly moved when I read this, it resonates strongly with my atheist beliefs.

Sit down, have a drink.: “There is no God.”
