I knew I recognized the voice somewhere. I downloaded a Death Cab for Cutie song and I swore the guy sounded like The Postal Service. Turns out, Ben Gibbard is the voice of both great sounding groups. If you haven’t checked out either group yet, you should. Nice smooth energy, interesting lyrics and a voice that feels comfortable, great music as you’re on the road or chilling at home.

And on the music theme, I recently obtained some Dangerous Muse tracks via Ian. And OMG, the lead singer’s voice is absolutely… well, pardon me for sounding like a star-struck teenager, but dreamy. It’s sultry, sexy, and charming, yet very bad boy. If I’d been a gay boy of 18 leaning against the wall nervously watching everyone on the dance floor (which I never was, I was twenty at the time, not 18! ;-), and a guy had come up and whispered in my ear in this guy’s voice, well, let’s just say I would have probably passed out at the very least. And it doesn’t hurt that their music is great to boot.
