This is a really great interview with Sam Harris, an atheist and author of “The End of Faith”. A very frank look at how religious beliefs that are not able to be validated by logic or science serve only to divide us as a human race. He’s not saying people can’t be spiritual or have beliefs, but that cherry picking bits and pieces out of two thousand year old documents to engage in discourse in modern society is pointless and irrational. He sounds like a very interesting, open-minded individual who has taken the time to really think things out. I’d love to have a conversation with someone like this sometime about society, philosophy, and spirituality.
