We’re going tubing on the Comal River this weekend! Yay! I’m looking forward to it. Good to get away. I’m getting the distinct impression people here at work are getting irritated with my attempts to engage in continuous improvement, asking questions about how we do things, why, and trying to start conversations on how we can do better. When no one responds, I send out standards and documents (again asking for feedback), saying this is how we should do it. Apparently some people think I have no stance to do this since there have been bugs and issues in my past projects (so only if you’re perfect you can work to improve the group???). Boo hoo. If you can’t take suggestions (I’m not even criticizing things here, just suggesting how we can make it better) then you can go. None of us are perfect, the whole idea is to try and make things better as a team.

Like I said. It’ll be good to get away.
