Been watching a few movies lately. First off at the theatre we caught The Night Listener at the Angelika with Chris and James. It’s based off a story by Armistead Maupin. It was a little slow, and didn’t get as dramatic as it would have liked to, but it was still an enjoyable tale. I’d wait to rent it.
In the Netflix queue, saw Sahara. Really expected this to be an utter bomb based on box office performance, but it was actually an enjoyable Indiana Jones-style action/treasure hunt movie.
Finished BloodRayne tonight, and it was just bad. The choreography was off, the script was bad, and the orchestral score drowned out the actors most of the time. You’re far better off just watching Underworld (1 or 2) again.
