Well, let’s see what’s happened of late. Ian went to visit his family this weekend and help his brother move into a new apartment. I stayed here.

Vic and Jon came over and we had a game night, trying out a new game that came recommended from my co-worker Jason. I have to admit, we were hesitant. Being serious gamers, we don’t throw around game recommendations lightly. And despite the fact that the setting of the game sounds cool, we’d been burned before by picking up a very similar game that had horrible game mechanics. We had thus named it and any other games like it a “brick”. The publisher of such a brick was thus BrickMaster Games.

But, the game turned out to be a blast. Simple game mechanics, and who doesn’t love killing zombies? Plus, there’s expansions. Gamers LOVE expansions! So pick yourself up a copy of Zombies!!!

Last night I watched Taking Lives with Angelina Jolie. Very formulaic murder mystery plot, but overall enjoyable.
