Kudos to Congress for putting together bi-partisan legislation on the immigration issue. No, it’s probably not perfect. But I bring it up because I often criticize both sides (though mostly the right in recent years) of their extremism. Once cooler heads prevail, we can put together something that helps to solve real issues and while it doesn’t make anyone thrilled, it’s an honest effort. We won’t solve this issue on the first try. But, we need to do something. This is something that seems reasonable, fair, and gives everyone involved respect, including illegal immigrants. Let’s hope it actually makes it through the process!
