Kudos to Clinton, Obama and Edwards for putting forward universal health care proposals. Are any of them perfect? No. Will they be cheap or easy to implement? No. But the truth is no one, ever, should be denied health care for an illness or condition affecting them just because they’re not covered or don’t have the money. I hope one of them gets in office and gets some version of this in place. It will take decades to do it right, but we must start on the path to find the right way.
